Sunshine Grayline Bait Tanks

Sunshine Grayline Bait Tanks: 50 gallon, 40 gallon, 35 gallon, 30 gallon, 25 gallon, 20 gallon

Why should I buy a Grayline Bait Tank?

What makes it so unique from other tanks?

Can I depend on it for bait survival?

Let me stress right here: the Grayline Bait Tanks are designed for guides, every day fishermen, and the occasional fisherman who needs to keep baits alive for extended periods of time. It was designed by a serious fisherman for serious fishermen.

  • TOTAL TANK INSULATION: All of our tanks are constructed using a unique TRI-BOND ROTATIONAL manufacturing process. This process allows our tanks to be totally insulated at top, sides and bottom. By insulating the tank bottom, the boat’s floor heat cannot be transferred to the tank.
  • ONE PIECE ROTATIONAL CONSTUCTION: No seams to come apart and leak - ever!!
  • TANK LIDS: Permanently hinged with stainless steel components. They cannot blow off.
  • TOTALLY SALTWATER RESISTANT: All metal parts stainless.
  • FILTER BOX: Located at top of tank. Entire capacity is used for bait.
  • SPRAY ORIFICE: 3/8”, can be adjusted, non-clogging, and trouble free. No spray bar to clog.
  • DRAIN: ¾” drain located on the end of the tank is standard for easy draining and cleaning.

Add a blue interior to your order for $20.00.

In 2010, we are going to offer bait tanks with blue and white interiors.  Why Blue?   It is believed to calm the bait and cause less stress.

We are offering the 30 gallon model with a solid top with the option of a Removable Filter or Built-in Filter. What is the advantage of one filter over the other?  The Removable Filter is easier to service and it is easier to clean the tank. You can remove filter when trying to get the last few baits since the last baits will still be in great shape and a challenge to catch.  The Built-in Filter works equally well and can be cleaned easily; the difference is like the difference between auto windows that roll-up manually (Built in-Filter) versus auto windows that are electric (Removable Filter). The solid top is a great feature. It can be folded back onto itself and when it is closed, and it can also be used as a seat!  The seat is made of high density polyethylene (½ inch thick), and has a thumb latch, lift handle, and a seal under the top to help seal the tank.
Why are we offering these options? To allow you get a quality bait tank with the amenities that you feel comfortable with.

MARCH 2009

I have decided to add 3 new tanks with a small footprint (16" x 24") to my Grayline inventory so that fisherman who are new to bait fishing might have a place to start without a huge expenditure. The tanks are not only Grayline quality, but give fishermen more choices. These tanks do the same functions as our high end tanks: remove scales, aerate, and control temperature so that bait stays in top condition. Tanks are oval and insulated with built in filter box, one pump, and a high density polyethelene top (suitable to sit on). Top has a turn latch and stainless steel hinges.

As an extra, all tanks can be fitted with an aeration system that has a pump located near the bottom. It comes with an external air control center that aerates the water with small air bubbles. The small air bubbles carry Co2 and ammonia to the surface where it dissipates. This aeration will increase the holding capacity by more than 40% and keeps the bait in prime shape. The cost is $40.00 at the time of order.
